Job Title: Registered Dietitian (Eating Disorder Program)

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Flexible day schedule (typically 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) with willingness to work 2-3 evenings per week until 7:00-8:00 PM for therapy groups.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our Eating Disorder Program. This position involves working closely with patients in both individual and group settings to provide nutrition counseling, meal planning, and support for individuals recovering from eating disorders. The role offers a hybrid work environment with flexible scheduling and strong professional development support.

Candidates with prior eating disorder experience are highly preferred; however, motivated new graduates with a Master's degree and active state license are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct nutritional assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide nutrition counseling for patients with eating disorders in both one-on-one and group settings.
  • Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient recovery.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust meal plans and nutrition goals as needed.
  • Participate in therapy groups and provide evening support sessions 2-3 nights per week.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with healthcare regulations and facility standards.
  • Educate patients and families on healthy nutrition habits and recovery-focused care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
  • Active state license/registration as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Eating disorder experience preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a patient-centered environment.
  • Comfortable working in both individual and group therapy settings.

Compensation

  • New Graduates: $32/hour
  • Experienced Candidates: Up to $46/hour (based on experience)
